powcon 300 ss is for stick and scratch start tig, 14 pin control on unit is for foot control or finger tip control for remote voltage output and weld output on/off control, this is a cc machine, but a voltage sensing wire feeder will work on this machine, like ln-25 lincoln or miller s32, i think the hobart is called hefty, cant remember for sure, flux core wire works good and hard wire good,but if u use .023 hard wire it could be sensitive to lower voltage settings because of voltage sensing feeder, but possible.
