I have been researching these welders for the same reasons. From what I understand the Lincoln, Plus adds infinate adjustment or fine tuning of the current which Hobart (made by Miller) doesn't seem to offer. I did read somewhere that you need a good 30amp-115v service for the 135 welders. I am looking for aluminium welding mainly and the lincoln offers a soft cable insert.
