Hmmm, thats an easy question, your EXCITER has packed it in. Pull your outer exciter cover off, pull your exciter brush holder and brushes off.
With an 1 1/2", or 1 7/16" socket and air impact (don't use a wrench or other manual socket!!as you will take the exciter shaft out of alighnment) Remove the end nut and lock washer. Slide the exciter straight out. Rewinding is generally around $125 bucks US.
Have the rewind shop throw another 40 or so extra winding on to the exciter.
Throw her back together. It'll really crank out the power with the extra windings!

There ya go....
