Rick, we are in the same boat. I am anxious for some feedback on this myself because I am faced with the same decision. I can tell you though that at my work we have a lincoln 175 that has been awesome to work with.Granted,it does not plug into stanadard 120 volt.The lincoln is a tad bit more money but i beleive you usually get what you pay for it's probably worth the extra couple of dollars or so.Also, Harbor Freight sells hobart not Lincoln so I for some reason would give the edge to lincoln. Look at the sp 135 plus
