I need a 175 A wire welder for home use, my dealer has Lincoln and Miller. I have no good reason for choosing one over the other. Does anyone have knowledge of these two machines?
All I have heard is the Lincoln SP175 is smooth and the Millermatic 175 is preferred by some pro's. Also the miller has a wire speed compensator when the V knob is adjusted, will any usefull control of the welder be lost from this?
Can anyone shine any more light on this? I appreciate any help.
