Kind of late, but this might help, on another model of a Lincold Welder, the idler solenoid's two wires go in parallel with the stablizer coil. Since the stablizer coil is in series with the welding load, think of it as a meter shunt, when the voltage drop across it increases, indicating an increased load, the voltage to the idler solenoid increases causing the throttle to open up.
