First, I'm new here, a friend spotted these place and passed it on to me.

I have a SP-170T Lincoln Mig welder. I have not tried welding aluminum with it yet. My question is how do you know when a customer brings in a certain repair job....how do you know what grade wire to use?? I have done a little aluminum with TIG a long time ago but not on a MIG machine. My welding experience has been mostly steel.
Thanks ahead of time.
Tony.
