Hello everybody,
did you know the exact definiton of the overall system bandwith of servo systems.

Overall System Bandwith
This test we made with the servomotor whitout load. (smalest inertia)
We conect an sinus function generator to the servo controller.
The amplitude is adjusted so that there is no current limitation.
We see actual speed and set speed on a Oscilloscope.
We increase the frequency at the input to the phase shift between input signal and output signal 45° amount to. (or the amplitude is 0.707 of the input)
We make this test with smalest motor and bigest motor. and resolver
Is this correct ? Have you detailed information about this.
Have you seen information about this in some books ?

Did you know the definition of the bandwith of digital controllers ? (Bandwith of a digital PI-controler)
