Most supplyers of Servodrives (Allen Bradley, Baldor, SEW-Eurodrive, Indromat) would be able to provide some good reference material relating to general servodrive issues. Contact shaft encoder suppliers (Stegmann, Hohner, Heidenhein, Omron) for their information as well.
