Hello,

I have a question which will tax the memory of anyone who delved
into Cincinnati technology from days gone by. Without
the schematics I'm wondering if the old H2 horizontal mill fitted
with the a5 CNC and the 3 Cimtrol hydraulic servomotor-valve
units can be fitted with any later analog (+/- 10v) CNC. A
repairman mentioned to me that the top rack of the "big blue" a5
box mounted a servo controller card for each Cimtrol axis, thats
all he can remember.

Did these controller cards receive the standard analog velocity
command? If so, then my bright idea is to do a halfway retrofit
with a spare CNC to get up and running before mounting some
conventional servos further down the track.

Thankyou kindly...
