Dear Sir:
This may be late for you, but I may be able to help. I am a retired engineer with quite a bit of servo experience. I recently completed a DOS based CNC with step and direction outputs. In order to do a good job on a control system, there are many factors to be considered; mass, speed, accuracy, and so forth. If you are still in need I would be pleased to help.
