Good day,I am presently comparing the use of FBE coated pipeline with bracelet anode sacrificial cathodic protection vs uncoated pipeline with skid mounted anodes for a proposed pipeline project off north western Australia.
The proposed 12km long pipelines (8" and 10" at a depth of 28m) have a design life of 30 years and if the uncoated pipeline option is followed depending upon which option is most cost effective), the skid/anode assemblies would be replaced every 10 years.
As part of this study, I would like to know about other examples of uncoated oil & gas subsea pipeline in the world and how these have performed. The details I am looking for are as follows:
1.. location of pipeline
2.. outer diameter and pipeline length
3.. depth of installation
4.. number of years in service
5.. general comment about performance
Any information regarding the above would be most appreciated.
Best regards
