Rich,
You said Steel and Aluminum will always react when put together- does this apply to just salty atmospheres or clean, dry environments also? I am researching using 6061 Al as a possible fastener into 304 Stainless. In my application, any corrosion is unacceptable, as are any coatings or lubricants.
