I have a metal target on an oil burner in a furnace. It lasts about one year of intermmitent firing. At that point, it is eroded to the point that it no longer spreads the flame which in turn creates a hot spot in the refractory liner.
Anyone have any suggestions for methods or materials that might make for a longer sevrvice life?
