A material with ionically bonded silver is formed into a non-woven fabric using steel pins. After a very short period of time large amounts of corrosion can be seen on the steel needles. This can dramatically affect the quality of the web.
I would be grateful of any information concerning the type of corrosion taking place and how it could be reduced/prevented.
