I operate a small recycle papermill that has just started using a low level of ferric sulphate as a floculation agent and odor control agent. I am very concerned about the possibility of metal loss with so many dissimilar metals in the process water loop. Has any one had any experience with the use of ferric sulphate and metal losses?
