Try trawling through E-bay and other auctions for your needs, often there is a lot of tooling available . It might be worthwhile grabbing anything if the price is right and then trading for what you want with someone else.
If you ever think we pay too much for carbide then check out mining industry prices, we are being SHAFTED. If you complain, you will be told that that the carbide is of a lower quality in mining but when you see a rock drill that started life as a forging,was screwed, milled and had a carbide insert brazed in, finish ground to the thread, and painted, all for $6.00 (at the shop counter) one must wonder. who is jerking who?
