At least in our control only the "F" is used for feed. The software knows if a rotarty and feed are on the same line then to interpert the "F" as degrees per minute. If just a linear move is coded then it is interperted as IPM.
I monitor two other sites daily as well, CNCGURU and alt.machines.cnc. There were a couple of others but the lack of activity was amking it a waste of time. The only time that I don't monitor is when I'm out on the road around the country.
