Would really appreciate some help on this.
We are trying to machine a long piece from 1.5" dia by 24" long bar.
Small dia is .55 by 2.75 long step then .75 by 22 long on Johnford C.N.C. with Fanuc 0-T

Problem it chatters like ...... tried 1 radius insert.
Fiddled with speeds and feeds.
Is there any special tool or some thing that can help.
We have no room for follower either.
