We are having a hell of a time Gun Drilling 6063 T6 aluminum that tends to be softer more often than not. The problem we are having is that on the softer blocks we are not getting good chips from the cut. We have tried different configuartions of the gun drill head and feed cycles but no luck. Does anyone have any idea what would give us better chip breakage say with a different type of gun drill?
