I just bought a 4 and 1/2 inch vise. This is one old looking vise, so I suspect that the only way to get replacement jaws is to make one using the other on as a template. If you have the same model vise (#974 1/2) and I can be of help as to what the original looks like, let me know.

Do you know anything about the history of these old vises or how I can learn more?
