If you have a problem with welding (edge build up) then your have a problem either with the coolant you are using or your cutting conditions are way out to lunch. If you refer to recommendation from a machining data handbook for the starting feeds and speeds, you can then make minor adjustments to suit your set up. Don't overlook the importance of the coolant.
