I just purchased a new system and I guess I am a little out of my depth now. I would sure appreciate any insight anyone can give me

I've got a custom DAW (digital audio workstation) with a Yamaha SW1000XG sound card and a Midiman Delta 44 soundcard. The Yamaha has the following plug connections;
1. Eternal Audio Input (A/D input). It connects to a stereo mini jack cable.
2. Line out out Terminal L/R these (two terminals) connect to RCA
3. Digital out Terminal, which connects to a S/PDIF type cable (which may also be called 'coaxial' since the other end is presently hooked into the stereo decoder of my speaker setup in a terminal labeled'coaxial'
4.MINI DIN 6pin Teriminal for MIDI

The Midiman soundcard has a breakaway box with four analog outs and four analog ins and they require 1/4 inch TRS (balanced) or TS (Tip-sleeve unbalanced) connections.

I have the Cambridge Soundworks DTT3500 Digital 5.1 speaker system which consists of two front and two rear speakers, a center speaker and a subwoofer. The terminal are as follows;
1. 2 RCA inputs for analog sound.
2. Coaxial, which at present is using a plug that looks just like an RCA, without the narrow notches in the sleeve.
3. Digital DIN
4. Optical

BEHRINGER MX1604A 12 channel mixer 4 bus mixer

Now, here's the deal. I would like to be able to control everything from the mixer (including the speakers...if that's not possible I assume we run the speakers from the two analog outs on the SW1000XG...which I'm not doing right now because that means mini-jack to RCA and I haven't been able to find that cable and the sales people act confused when I mention it..
I want to run cables from the MIDIMAN outs into the mixer...thereby controlling whatever I put 'in' the Midiman.
I want to connect to the Yamaha...routing in and out...so as to
control all that too. I can do internal mixing but I want to have ALL the possible options available to me that my system will allow for.

I would like to be able to control my speakers from the mixer as well. If this is possible. If it is not possible or intelligent it doesn't matter...as long as I can get sound from all of my speakers controllable through the speaker stereo decoder.

Otherwise I just operate with a guitar and microphone as well as the MIDI keyboard.

I would REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY appreciate any help you could give me. I have been going batshit trying to get this together. I'm an American in Germany
I have searched sites and tried to figure this out. It
may be that one of my problems is the speaker setup that I am trying to use....but this system is used for DVD and Video and CD systems as well as computer setups. Seems like it should work.
Once I can get the necessary cables and figure out the routing I should be on my way. Right now I am limping along.

At the moment I am monitoring my recording action
with the speakers on... I can't seem to get the headphone to isolate the internal mix, you can imagine how effective that is.
I'm hoping that you can look at my setup and figure out what cables I need and how I would route them
I would really appreciate your help. Please let me know what I need.

Any further questions you have I'll get right back to you about.
Thank you for the time you've spent reviewing this convoluted missive.
