I can not directly help you. I could design one but that would take money and effort, but check out non-destructive testing companies. They might have something close to what you want. I can tell you that for _listening_ on a planar surface and determining where the sound came from, we used it for detection of cracking of containment vessels; you arrange the microphones in a triangle and put one in the center. Then you can resolve the equations without ambiguities. I think the company got a patent on it after I left; one of my more interesting developments and not in my name(:(: Afterwards I learned the general mathematical principles about what I had done. I could have done a better job, instead of proving the correctness numerically. Hindsite is really great, if humbling. Ray
