Hi all,

In particular, I am interested in designing a pulse generator which can give pulses of a nano second time duration (0.5 to 2 ns), with subnanosecond rise times, peak signal amplitudes of the order of 10-15V (+ve/-ve) and pulse repetition frequency(PRF) up to 100 MHz or more. The unit is to be triggered by a 40MHz or 80MHz near sinusoidal signal with an amplitude (peak to peak) of about 1V. I want to use this in gated bias operation of an avalanche photodiode (APD).

Can anybody kindly suggest a solution for this.
