The best way would be to duplicate the test capcitance; in so far as is possible.
Just remember that any differences allows a handle for the environment to create differences.
In the real world there are no "Silver Bullets", just better and worse ways to proceed. Using old solutions for new problems is a road to disaster.
Every problem should be solved on it's own terms by carefully understanding, and hopefully quantifying, it. Thinking about particular problems is the road to elegant solutions.
