I'm looking to purchase an oscilloscope for an industrial maintenance group, however, I need to know if a
20 mhz scope will accomplish my needs. We plan to use the scope to troubleshoot "D.C. drives" and
SCR's. If a 20 mhz is not enough, the question is "why ?" (in laymans terms). I can understand that it would
depend upon the bandwidth needed to be measured but how does the bandwidth relate to what I actually would
see on the CRT screen. - If 20mhz is not sufficient, then what would be a recommendation and why?
