I think the idea of your building your own intercom is ill-advised unless your are doing it for self-education or are living in a very poor environment.
If the work involved doesn't dissuade you then let me know where I can get the information and I will try to point you to references, or give some explanations.
I am not going to teach you electronics, it would require a lot of time and effort; besides you would do better elsewhere and getting some books/tutorials.
