Hi,

I wonder if anyone can point me to maybe a website / book which explains (simply!) cable screening techniques.

Questions i need answering are...

How do screens work ?
How do you know where to connect a screen ? and to where ?
- is it best to connect the screen to mains earth or 0V or somewhere else ????
What makes an effective screen ?
How does one screen a multi-point RS485 cable ?
