I have not actually read this lecture but it looks as though it might be what you want. Please be aware that real digital logic design does require some extensive skills; you will have to buy some books and study them. There are deep pitfalls when you try to scale up simple ciruits to more complex designs. I am not trying to discourage you, just telling you that if you plan to do gate level design with more than 20 gates don't be too superficial.
After gate level designs you get to HDL's which open up new possibilities for error:)
Enjoy yourself but don't expect to acquire real skills without work.
