I'm trying to generate a triangular/sawtooth wave from a Buck convertor, but my voltage-controlled switch is not performing repeated transitions. How do I adjust the threshold voltages so the convertor actually "switches"? Should I replace the switch with a comparator or a Schmidt Trigger (if so what are the part numbers?).

Note: My buck convertor consists of a load resistor and inductor. Also, it has a diode running from the series resistance to ground.

Thank you for your help!
