I don't know if I'll receive much help here but here it goes. We are injection molding tungsten carbide and having a problem with a crack forming where 2 core pins meet. The mold is gated above the 2 core pins. We have changed the gate location a couple of times with no success. We are starting to lean towards the binder that is being used. Would the wrong binders contribute to a crack showing up at the same place part after part? We have also went through a lot of different injection parameters. We've also tried 2 different grades of materials with the same results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Mark Graham
