Subject: Fluorescence measurement system

Hi ,
I'm designing a floursecence measurement system for detection of oxygen in seawater.

So far I've decided to go with a Blue LED(this excites the Ruth(II) complex im using at 470nm] a bifurcate fibre bundle connected to my chemical sensor(the Ruth(II)complex) it also houses a RTD temperature sensor.

The fibre bundle leads to a Photomultiplier tube (voltage regulated) and then a lock in amp and finally my data display (laptop)

I know I need to add on lenses and filters.

This is where I'm a little stuck 2 bandpass filters? One at the LED one at the PMT?

I'm really confused on lenses I think one lens at the PMT to focus the incoming protons?

I've searched textbooks and the web and I can't find information which will help me decide on the correct filters and lenses.
