I am looking for some sort of detector that will be able to measure the x and y (using 2 detectors) of a rifle bullet as it crosses a perpendicular surface plane. This instrument will be used in an electronic target for Olympic type shooting, where the x-y location of the bullet is determines the score of the shot.

Can any one help me with any ideas? I sincerely appreciate it.
