The Office for Science and Technology, with the support of SPIE and OSA, is organizing an event called French American Innovation Day.
It will focus this year on Photonics. Some of the best French and American scientists in photonics and optics will present major breakthroughs (Wolfgang Ketterle, Nobel Prize recipient in Physics 2001, will give a talk).
Leading corporations and fast growing startup firms will demonstrate the importance of innovation in this matter.
A networking event will give the opportunity to meet academics, industrials, VCs and incubators.
The event will take place at The Photonics Center at Boston University on October 17, 2002.
Registration is free. Seating is limited.
