I did a search on Google for "industrial x-ray inspection" (include the quotes), and came up with 129 web sites. Many of them describe basic theory and techniques. You might also try searching on "NDT" (Non Destructive Testing), then narrow your search to "X-ray". If you are looking for the physics of generating X-rays, there are web sites that describe that also! My own web site has a few basic facts about Dental X-ray tubeheads. The url is: http://xrayheads.com/ and if you have specific questions about generating X-rays with stationary anode tubes, email me and I might be able to help you.
