Technically, your're absolutely correct, but the point I was trying to make is that X-rays can be understood a little easier if you imagine them as a beam of light, instead of imagining them as some sort of mystical, "dangerous", energy source! I hate the name "X-rays". Mr. Roentgen dubbed them that name because he had no idea what they were. Now that we understand them completely, they should be given a name that is a little less frieghtening to the average person!
