Hi
I am a complete newby on this. We would like to replace a Gamma source used in a gauging application with an X-ray source. What is the highest commercial continous power available, and what do the units mean ? Most x-ray tubes are rated in kV, an input measurement, what kind of output in Rads does this lead to ? What kind of failure modes might there be ? - a failure in service could mean the uncontrolled escape of 300 metric tonnes of hot liquid metal. What other practical problems might there be. Cheers PS remove nospam to email me.
