Boy thats going to be a tough one, with out a lot of information such as time in the area, distances involved, type of equipment and what not... There are a lot of variables you need to pin down to get a good measurement or guess-t-ament.

You're refering to the field in sieverts, so I'll ask what country are you in? As for the most part the U.S. is stuborn and I'm still in the Curie / Rhoegen world. I doubt I'll ever convert my thinking to sieverts / grays. heh heh.

I would ask what you were doing anywhere near such an operation without a film badge / TLD.. In the U.S. that would be a Major fine for the inspection company.

Who's the regulatory group in your area? They would be the first place to go to, as off the top of my head is sounds like you're involved with an violation that needs to be reported.
