I'm researching a disposable thread to use in a knitting process. The ideal material will be dissolvable in a environmentally safe solvent with a break load of at least 5 lbs for a 020" diameter (approx. 16,000 psi). As in any engineering application cost is important. If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful to hear about them.
