Dear Mr. Goel, This is a common foundry problem, not specific for your foundry...You have to classify the shrinkages as primary and secondary...Secondary shrinkages are uneasy to sort out...You can not feed them with exxessive metal. Because there is not enough time to feed the hot spots at the end of the solidification...You need to feed these sections to feed with more graphitization...Graphite must serve from start of solidification until the end...You need to balance the graphite precipitation...You have to modify your base metal characteristics, also...To keep your issue hot, please give some more details with some descriptive photos... You need to consider your charging practice, treatment material, treatment method, inoculation material and other details...
