what is the preferable size of the inoculant granules....especially for grey iron? is it possible that the inoculant might end up as slag if the filling time in a sand mould is very less say abt 6-7 secs.and how do u ensure tht the inoculant distributin is even thorught the casting and if it is uneven will it affect the hardness and machinability of the castings
