I am a regular user of this software. If you are not designing high speed PCB designs, this will be good. Layout Plus comes with the Smartroute autoroute engine, which is maybe a step-down from Spectra. However, it gets the job down well if you have a design that requires a high amount of components to be routed. Spectra is geared towards high speed layout designs. I used it when I worked for another company based on P-Cad software doing high speed design layouts. Spectra will be overkill for anything less. Good Luck. -Mark
