Thanks Harvey. I downloaded your course and found it of value. It was well done, if a little sparse.

A few comments:

Description of a "cold solder joint" needs a more realistic graphic.

I did not understand your recommendation that I should use a silver bearing solder. If I were soldering to a silver surface, I would use Sn62 (2% silver bearing). Otherwise, I would use Sn63 (non silverbearing eutectic, cheaper, more available). Is there something I am missing here?
