hi. i am an university student using orcad to design an evm of tms320v5510 from ti. however, this is the first time i encounter bga in layout design for a 4 layout board. could anyone tell me where can i find useful guidence or information in doing the design of the layout?like the pad size, track width and via size that should be chosen.
according to the datasheet , the ball size of the bga is 0.55mm max. i have created a pad size with 0.55mm for that. the ball spacing is 0.8mm and i have set the track size to 0.15mm. here comes to my big problem, what should i set the via size to?
please give me comment about my decisions or any silly thing that i may have committed.
thanks a lot.
