Is your design on a single layer or multi-layer?if on a single layer , it will be advisable to have a connector close to the edge of the board and your the HV end of your transformer close to it.A 12VAC track has no big difference from a 12VDC track except the ac coupling you have to take care of.For a multilayer,try ultracad.com/org as appropriate for desigh guidaance.Good luck!
