Hi,
I have been using Windraft for a year now. I had become accusomted to it's occasional crashes on an older Gateway. I have installed it on a brand new Dell, only to find it even more unreliable. The general response from Ivex is that it has to be the video card and or driver software. [In fairness to them, I must add that the reliability improved when all video acceleration was turned off] Can anyone shed light on this kind of problem. Do the more expensive products rum more reliably on more machines. Or is this, as some designers have told me, the bane of CAD and PC's- There well be un explained crashes.?
And on an aside, is there a resource out there for interpreting the DR Watson printout from windows which diagnoses crashes? Any help appreciated.
Kevin
