James,
There are not many bitmap to CAD data conversion programs out there. If you have access to
AutoCAD V13 and can import, DXF or HPGL, plot files into Layo1 you might be in luck.
AutoCAD V13 can import PCX and GIF files and export DXF and/or HPGL.
There are quite a few shareware programs on the web that will convert from one bitmap to another
bitmap format if you don't have a PCX or GIF file to start with.
Another alternative would be to go to a data conversion service (like my company) and have them
convert the bitmap into Gerber data that can be added to your Gerber files.
A last resort would be to have it photocopied or photographed. There are special clear copier papers,
(plastic actually) that have a sticky backing that can be applied to your films, or you can take the artwork
to a circuit photography, graphic arts or print shop and have them make a film that you can apply to your
artwork.
Best of luck!
