Hello all.

I work for a medium size electronics company. We are having problems using the Polygon Place command in the Protel99se PCB design environment. What we are trying to do is create an outline around the outside edges of our traces. To do this we use polygon place with a small grid and track size (0.012mil), arcs (not octagons) checked, no hatch and we have set our design rules such that the when polygon place creates the outline its only a few mils from the edge of the trace. Our problem is this:

When the outline is created we get duplicate lines on top of each other but we only get duplicate lines on corners and only the outside edge of the corner (it happens whether we use arcs or not, different polygon thicknesses or differing offsets).

Can anyone offer an explanation or suggestion of how to fix this problem?
