hi, I'm trying to print out a protel 98 pcb file with a hp7475a plotter. The problem is the plotter plots lines thicker than they should be. For example, I set the plotter pen to F.3 and made the pcb tracks 0.3mm, so the plotter should draw tracks one pen width thick - shouldn't it?. Instead, the plotter draws a thicker line about 1.5mm thick. I'm using the hp7475a driver that comes with win95. I tried making the pcb tracks even thinner, 0.2mm just to see what would happen, but the plotter draws the tracks at the same thicker width. I seem to recall using another pcb program I got off the net a few years ago and it worked ok, so this leads me to believe the problem is with Protel advanced pcb, instead of the plotter or the win95 driver? Anyone have any ideas how to set up protel so that I can draw a track one pen width wide with the plotter or what the problem might be, or some way to get around it?
